Co-founders Donya Washington and Jason Ludwig explored the most successful and innovative companies with regard to how they established a positive and productive work environment. So, they set out to follow in their footsteps by raising the bar in how they would interact with their staff.  They realized that happy and appreciated staff members are not only invested in their agencies success but also are the most driven and motivated towards excellence. 

They also realized that in order to help find solid families for children in need, NPSFC needed to have an environment that itself was solid. Communication needed to be freely expressed in an honest respectful manner, and there needed to be a culture of friendliness and team cohesiveness.

NPCFS is a group of individuals who realize the importance of finding loving, supportive families for children who have experienced disruption in their birth families.  NPCFS staff endeavor to help families who are wanting to adopt, to understand how deeply wounded children are when they are separated from their birth families.  Families who have a strong network of support are often more resilient in their commitment to being a forever parent. The staff at NPCFS encourages their parents to meet other adoptive parents via support groups and events given by other parents as a means to network and share and learn from each other.
